Overview
Article 13(iv) of our constitution commits MIHLGSO to helping orphans and vulnerable children reach their education goals. The Yatima Project channels donations directly into school fees, uniforms, supplies, meals, and the day-to-day care these children need.
Children are identified together with local leaders and families, and support follows each child from primary school onward. By covering the costs that keep a child in class, the project removes the barriers that too often end a vulnerable child's education early.
